  2. i like your reviews, i just wish you would their HTPC features as well.

  3. Great video and very interesting product. Few observations:
    1) How many watts is the power supply? If enough, you may try increasing the current in Intel XTU. On my laptop it is 64A. The Cinebench score is quite disappointing, considering that the less powerful 8250 has a significant better score.
    2) As it is an engineering sample, why don't you try to increase the turbo max ratios? You can check if you can edit those in HWiNFO under "CPU Turbo Max". If so, you can do this using Throttlestop (FIVR window) or by editing directly the MSR 0x1AD. Increasing the ratios won't probably have any effect, but who knows since it's an engineering sample.

  4. having a lga1151 socket would have make much more sense, a 8100t or 8300t would have been perfect. No reason to pay the premium for a 'U' series cpu when it will be always tethered to the mains.

For this setup once you factor in the price of the ssd and ram you might as well just buy a budget asus or acer notebook

  5. What laptop do you recommend for CAD? I guess my i3-3217u & hd4000 will not be enough for a pleasant and fast experience.

  6. I ordered a Chuwi Hi13 from gearbest in March. Their site said there was 98 available. I waited five days for it to get shipped and nothing happened so when I asked them what was going on three different reps gave me three different answers. One said it was out of stock and will take two weeks to restock , another told me that it was being delayed due to the chinese new year and another said its in stock but it will take three to ten more days to be shipped. In the end they lied to me and I kept pushing for two days. They eventually caved and shipped the tablet to me even though they said it wasn't in stock. Seriously I won't be buying from one of those cheap chinese vendors again. I've looked at the reviews for Bangood , Gearbest and Aliexpress. It looks like they are either the same company or they all use the same customer support. Gearbest stops responding to customer support tickets after a very short while and no matter how often you get back to them they ignore the customer. Its the worst customer support I have ever experienced.

Now I need to find somebody that can fix my Chuwi Hi12.

  7. Cant wait for Voyo vbook i7 review! i love the deatils and attention you put in your videos!

  8. This does NOT come with RAM, SSD? CORRECT? will you please list where to get RAM and SSD? THANK YOU

  9. This is how the chinese behave. It's embedded in their culture. What you expect from a socialist country?

  10. I bought this on aliexpress (with VESA mount included) and no issues with seller. Runs like a charm. I suspected, because of the size, it would make fan noise and it does and it is somewhat annoying as you mentioned. I will be looking into building this into a fanless device. Hopefully Akasa will make a fitting aluminum chassis.

  11. Oh!!! another Iphone's socialist defending their case. Why the Chinese government don't allow YT in China ? or FBK ? TO BE CLEAR !! I Don't hate chinese poeple., buyt their goverment, and what they are doing. Go search a little bit what they are doing with Taiwan and Japan and the artificial islands… know the truth and you will be free… Jesus man. Oh… another guy that China does like. Prohibition of the bible…

  12. Very strange RAM frequency in HWiNFO64 in your video. Is it really works on ~600 (1200)Mhz ??

  13. It is a QS cpu, eng sample, it is for test, not for sale. it will have some driver problem. if you try to install hackintosh, CPUID and driver would be the problems.

  14. Its look`s like super duper pc to install hackintosh on it. That would be a great video.

  15. 250G Sasmung drive? nice typo in the drive speed results, wonder where that typo comes from if it is crystal diskmark or samsung that made that error?

  16. Why should anyone buy an Intel CPU nowadays with the big problem of spectre and meltdown? I would wait 2 or 3 years later. Then meanwhile Intel should resolve this big bang problem. How do you get it for this price? The minimum price of the link you linked is $367 without Ram and SSD. And you did not say it has only a Bluetooth 3.0 onbaord built in.

  17. Can it handle the free version of DaVinci Resolve video editing software without crashing

  18. I think i will buy this but not now.when intergrated graphic reach gt 1030 lvl or better

  19. i bought the NUC and i can confirm your comments; the fan has been configured to maintenance the PC cold; if speedfan (App) would detect the Motherboard or other similar-App, we could reduce the noise without problem (in the current mini-bios we can't configure the fan-rpm,…) .
