AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
This 6 core, 12 thread Ryzen 5 chip is one of the best gaming-oriented CPUs we’ve seen in quite some time! With a base clock speed of 3.6Ghz and boost of upto 4.2Ghz this processor boasts both good single and multi-threaded performance. You also get the AMD RGB stock cooler which looks fantastic!

MSI B350M MORTAR
For the motherboard I chose MSI’s B350M MORTAR board. In a Micro ATX form factor, it boasts USB 3, M.2 SSD support and PCI-E 3.0. With a stealthy color scheme and an on-board RGB header you can’t go too far wrong!

ADATA Spectrix D41 16GB
16GB of RAM really is the sweet spot for gaming in 2018, and what better than a fast, efficient and reliable kit with RGB! Costing negligible amounts more than a non RGB kit this set is not only practical, but very aesthetically pleasing!

Seagate Barracuda 2TB
For the storage in this build a 2TB Seagate Barracuda gives 2000GB of capacity for movies, music, games and your Windows OS. There isn’t really much more to it!

MSI GTX 1060 6GB (search results)
The MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 features MSI’s signature black and red, dual fan cooler, with a striking design. The 6GB frame buffer on this higher end GTX 1060 helps when rendering textures and using features such as Anti Aliasing!.

Corsair Spec-06
The newest edition to Corsair’s more budget-oriented case stack, the Spec-06 chassis comes in white and black, with the RGB variant selected here also boasting ..you guess it: RGB! It looks fantastic, is fairly affordable and provides a good build experience.

Cooler Master Masterwatt 650
When picking a power supply it’s important to get a unit with enough wattage (but not overkill!), an 80+ efficiency rating and solid reputation. This 650W Cooler Master unit fits the bill perfectly!

  1. Ryzen 5 2600X (in the video) or i5 8600? I will be streaming btw

  2. Are you ever going to do another gaming computer giveaway i really want one i wanted one for about 5 years now and i really hope i do get one that is my dream to get a gaming computer!

  3. For $1000 you can get a 1080 build so why would you put a 1060 6gb. The 1060 6gb is slower than a rx 580 and cost much more. It is a bad deal and definitely shouldn’t be in a build that cost this much.

  4. Would it make much of a difference for gaming to not have a ssd?

  5. Where are the 4K gaming benchmarks?

  6. Fairly well balanced build, although I would definitely try to cut costs by going for a cheaper case and a 1TB HDD. I really really think you should fit an ssd in a build of this caliber. It just makes the OS feel much smoother and you'll have a much better experience. I have to say tho, nice build and really good video quality, keep it up! 🙂

  7. That case is sexy. I think the board is enough if not overclocking and cpu doesn't come with that rgb cooler.

  8. Definitely not any excuse for not having an ssd. Even a 120gb is better then nothing. N costs next to nothing.

  9. Did those red LED/RGB strips inside the case come with the case or did you purchase those separately?

  10. 1060 6gb is by no means a 1440p sweetspot, you will dip to 40's frequently

  11. Can someone make a pcpartpicker list for me of this pc? Thanks.

  12. I'm really sure that the RGB version of the wraith spire is only included in the Ryzen 7 1700 and the Ryzen 7 2700.
Please correct me if I am wrong. But I am really sure that the Ryzen 5 chips only include the non-RGB version of the wraith spire.

  13. when are you going to build a pc? all i see is a complete build!!!

  14. Who did this appear on my notif but i wasnt subbed anyways ill sub i enjoyed the vid
