  1. I should have noted that the MSI GTX 1070 Ti Gaming X models were used, not FE cards. Also the Core i7-8700K @ 5.0 GHz with 32GB's of DDR4-3200 memory made up the test bed.

  2. Maybe I shouldn't have sold my second 1080ti for above MSRP… No, I think selling it was still the right decision πŸ˜€

  3. i have a question about multi GPU, would it give more performance when using a 3 monitor setup. or would that make no difference compared when using a single monitor ? could be a interesting test ?

  4. i7 6900k GTX 1080 SLI here. We've seen far worse overall optimizations in the past so I guess it's not that bad.
Though I might wait a bit before grabbing this game. Thanks for providing these numbers !

  5. Super Big Like! Thanks for listening to the thread requests. There are still believers/supporters of multi-GPU out here. If nothing else, we're just happy to hear about two Vega 56's playing games that aren't in a mining rig.

  6. just for those that don't know turn off crossfire for dx12 mgpu games. reboot and turn on mgpu in the game

  7. My dual 980ti's in sli, with no overclock, achieved what your 1080ti did, so gotta say I'm pretty happy with that. Better optimised for sli would be great, but I'm happy my rig can still keep up with the best πŸ™‚

  8. Which crossfire mode are you using? In my RX480/RX580 PC the VGA usage is really bad, one card shows 100% then the other card will show 100% and the first card 0%, generally fluctuates like that, using the newest drivers with Windows 10 64Bit.

  9. Also try set fans manual to max in the ceiling – vega 64 Ramos up heaps

  10. All game ready drivers from both companies are bs, they use it to sell GPU's bundled with whatever game getting these "game ready" driver's

  11. RX Vega strikes back. Now that it's not so profitable to Mine with these, the gaming world can see that potential of these chips. Better late than never.

The Vega 64 LC in CF @4K. That should even beat SLI @ 1080 Ti in this game. Maybe 100+ fps in 4K avg ? But Only usable during Wintertime πŸ™‚

  12. I have an exam coming up, may I borrow your time machine? Seriously, how do you find the time for all these benchmarks? Do you just make the numbers up? πŸ˜‰

  13. Looking at the gameplay now it's soooo similar to pubg lol. Small church, forest, loot, drive the motorbike, the same "trend".. mmh

  14. Hardware Unboxed, what would you say about GPU utilisation in Far Cry 5 ? Starting with 1060 GPUs are not used at 99% while CPUs are at 30-50%. Is it a bottleneck ? I'm kinda new to all those terms. My speks are R5 1600 at 3.8GHz and 1070 OCed to 2GHz. GPU is not used at 90+% and CPU is like 40ish %.

  15. AMD gimped game. They are in bed with AMD and you think these results are surprising. Game is coded with AMD hardware in mind

  16. how didnt the single 1070ti beat the single vega56? is far cry5 an AMD heavy game?
